Hemp oil, jojoba oil and apricot kernel oil are the three essential oils that are most commonly used in all the products in the ioba range – face and bodycare oil, regenerative oil and massage oil with lemon. 

The following types are used in the regenerative oil and the massage oil with lemon, in varying strengths.


 

In the face and bodycare oil, as well as the three main ingredients already mentioned,
there is a mixture of:

 

Turmeric, Ginger and Cinnamon

 

Potent spices with powerful warming effects that stimulate the circulation and reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Bisabolol

This substance occurs naturally in chamomile and has anti-inflammatory and anti microbial properties.

 

 

 

In the massage oil with lemon, as well as the three active ingredients, there is:

 

Lemon

(Citrus limon)

Renowned for its calming and soothing effects, especially on the nerves.

 

 

Hemp oil

Very rich
in vitamin E; 
antioxidant.

 

Jojoba oil

Helps to keep the skin hydrated by creating a protective film.

 

Apricot
kernel oil

(Prunus Armeniaca)

Revitalising and toning.  Contains polyunsaturated fatty acids, which help to protect the skin against the effects of ageing.

 

Lavender

(Lavandula Angustigolia)

Lavender is anti-inflammatory and helps to regenerate the skin.

 

Mint

(Mentha Spicata)

Mint has a slightly warming effect, and is a tonic and anti-inflammatory.

 

Oregano

(Origanum Compactum)

Stimulating, calming and helps to fight infections.

 

Clove

(Eugenia Caryophyllata)

Antiseptic.

 

Summer Savoury

 

(Satureia Hortensis)

Tones and stimulates.

 

Star Anise

(Illicium Verum)

Stimulant.  Also known by the name of Badiane. 

 

Cinnamon

(Cinnamomum Camphora)

Particularly effective for aching muscles.

 

 

Eucalyptus

(Eucalyptus Globulus)

Antiseptic.

 

Rosmary

(Rosmarinus Officinalis)

Has a soothing effect and helps aching muscles.

 

 

 

Thyme

(Thymus Vulgaris)

Helpful for nervous exhaustion.
